1. John F.¹ Boland was born in 1792 in (SC). He married ? (--?--) circa 1819 in Lexington County, SC. He died after 1840 in (Muscogee County, GA).

Census: 1820 Lexington County, SC; 1840 Muscogee County, GA.

I have another descendants report that includes John Boland Jr., born about the same time and lived in the same places as this John Boland. I think they possibly are cousins.

In the 1820 Lexington County, SC census, there are three John Boland's. One is over 45. He was born in 1752. The other two are between 26 and 45. Looking at the 1840 census, we can see that both were born between 1790 and 1794. In 1820 one (who is John Jr.) has three children. He was married about 1809. The other one has no children, and we can assume he was recently married, about 1819. The 1840 census for one (John Jr) has children to match the 1820 census. The other has younger children in the age range for the other John. This shows there were two John Boland's born in Lexington County, SC about the same time.This other John has not been recognized as being part of the descendants of John Boland, but he may be a descendant of the same Bohland several generations back. That would make this John and John Jr. cousins.

? (--?--) was born circa 1799. She died after 1840 in (GA or AL).

• i. Boy² Boland was born circa 1821 in Lexington County, SC. He died after 1840.

• ii. Boy Boland was born circa 1824 in SC or GA.

• iii. Boy Boland was born circa 1827 in SC or GA. He died after 1840.

• iv. Boy Boland was born circa 1830 in SC or GA.

• v. Boy Boland was born circa 1833 in SC or GA.
